Does anyone like ross from friends

And yes, it was over 20 years ago but that's still his sister and he was awful to her! Ross had fancied Rachel for years, which is But when he found out that she liked him back he was seeing someone else. And rather than be a decent person about it, he made a list about all the good and bad things about Rachel - which included that she was 'spoiled', 'ditzy' and 'just a waitress'.

As you know, everyone must have a PhD to date Ross Geller. Then he got annoyed with her for being upset about the list.

Oh and they end up together because sitcoms love to reward bad behaviour like this! Joey and Chandler were nice enough to offer Ross a place to stay but typical Ross had to be awful!

Even though he was the guest in their apartment he thought he could make them do everything the way he wanted to. He also made Joey sit at home and write a script because apparently Joey is a child and Ross is his father?

Let Joey live, he was never going to be an amazing author or script writer. It was difficult to watch. Okay, Ross judged every single character on the show for who they dated. He constantly teased Monica about dating Richard who was the same age as their father.

On top of that, he constantly wanted her to act like someone in her thirties and made it obvious that he thought she was 'immature'. Yes, she's 21 she wanted to go to parties and have water balloon fights.

The fact that he didn't want her to go on Spring Break was just too far. Ross and Rachel got married in Las Vegas when they were extremely drunk, and both of them regretted the decision. However, Ross decided rather than divorcing Rachel like she asked to, he would lie to her and try to make her fall back in love with him. Because that's a healthy way to build a relationship. The reason why he wouldn't divorce her was because he didn't want to be 'that guy' as he'd already been divorced twice.

Well, I'm sorry Ross but that forcing someone to stay married to you is super creepy. Imagine hearing your husband-to-be say his ex's name at the alter in front of all your friends and family. Poor Emily was not being too over dramatic when she demanded Ross stop seeing Rachel.

While I don't think they should have gone ahead with the wedding, they did. Look at the episode where he has a misadventure with a spray tan booth. Initially he's asked what level of tan he wants. OK, we know it's a show, where you have to take certain scenes with a pinch of salt. Ross, however, does take things to extremes.

He has sex in his place of work not in the privacy of a loo but in an actual exhibit! How did he get tenure, again? It's natural to feel the green-eyed monster on occasion, but jealousy seems to be part-and-parcel of being in a relationship with Ross, at least in the early seasons.

His lack of trust when it came to Mark, Rachel's colleague at Bloomingdale's , was what caused them to go 'on a break' in the first place. Not cool Ross. From taping a personalised answering machine message, 'We will, we will, call you back, call you back', to the air purifier to the 'keep it down' hand gesture that sends poor Chandler and Joey, generally a laid-back duo, over the edge and into the latter's bedroom, Ross is clearly not made for cohabitation.

Ross is horrified when his son, Ben, starts playing with a Barbie although is chastened when his sister reminds him that he used to dress up in his mum's clothes, calling himself 'Bea' and is also unnerved by the idea of a male nanny, a 'manny', jokes Chandler.

Poor, poor Rachel for not seeing these red flags. According to Jennifer Aniston, her famed character would still be happy and in love with Ross Gellar , too! Sure, Ross is a little annoying to begin with, but his unpleasantness really explodes around Season 6. First off, he seems a lot more like an uncle to his son, then an actual parent considering how much he spends time with him.

Sometimes a young Sprouse twin would show up in an episode and I forgot he had one? He forced a G. Joe doll on him despite his wishes. The number one rule about being a college professor should be to not get involved with a student. Yet, Ross totally does this in Season 6 with a student who is at least 10 years younger than him. And yet there something unnatural about the way we eat lunch. And I want you to know it took a tour guide to show this scientist the error of his ways.

You might even say he took me on a tour of myself. Now I say we shed these costs that separate us and we get to know the people underneath. Remember Ross's best man's speech at the Mondler wedding? He gave the sweetest toast to Monica by saying she was the greatest sister that anyone could have ever asked for. But it's the other way round, really. First off, Ross stood by Monica's decision when she wanted to date their parents' friend, Richard.

He lent her money when she was broke. He always made a strong case for Monica in front of Jack and Judie. He had "the talk" with Chandler right before his marriage to Monica. He looked all night for Chandler when the latter took off. There are countless other times when Ross went out of his way to show how much he loved Monica, thus proving he was the greatest big brother imaginable.
